A bstract We compute the QCD static force and potential using gradient flow at next-to-leading order in strong coupling. The is spatial derivative of potential: it encodes interaction both short long distances. While on one side has advantage being free O (Λ ) renormalon affecting when computed perturbation theory, other its direct lattice computation suffers from poor convergence. convergence can be improved by flow, where gauge fields operator definition a given quantity are replaced flowed time t , which effectively smear over distance $$ \sqrt{t} t while they reduce to limit → 0. Based our calculation, we explore properties for arbitrary values as well 0 limit, may useful studies.
